I want to get a Ministorium priest with eviscerator for my IG, but I'm not sure how to convert one. At my disposal I have (or will have soon) all the components for a company commander from the cadian command squad, as I'm not not using him for various reasons, and moderate GS abilities.
Do any of you have any ideas?
Any ideas appreciated

Priests can easily be converted with regular cadian (or catachan for that matter) parts and turning two of the regular chainswords into one large chainsword.

Here are mine:

Otherwise, I've seen a lot of good conversions from a wide variety of miniatures from WHFB and other sources. Really, any miniature with a two-handed chainsaw sword will work.

Here are some of mine, converted from some Empire Flagellants I got through a promotion:

an Eviserator doesnt need to be gargantuanly huge, just two-handed. I used leftover chainswords from my Chaos Marines (without the Chaos Icons) and normal SMs. The tattered clothing of the Flagellants seemed appropriate for fanatical preachers.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

I too would recommend Flagellant bodies, but not their heads, they just look a bit too wild imo.

How about using an empires wizard but cutting the top of his staff and use a SM chain sword in stead.

Thing is, that staff is pretty thin and the chainsword, well, it's a lot larger and will likely be hard to attach on.

If you're going for cheapness I'd go with Ailaros method.
I would, had I not gotten this dude in an ebay auction

It looks awesome and that mace is distinguishable enough to work as an eviscerator

But if you want to have some real fun buy some old redemptonist from necromunda, they'll set you back about 2pounds (especially since you live in the UK) and with minimal work you'll learn the basics on doing conversions

EDIT: forgot to add: don't buy a whole box of models if you only need to convert single priest.

Inside that little light in your refridgerator

I used one of the Sisters Repentia for mine. Comes with an eviscerator, and stands out due to it being female.

The one on the right if anyone's interested.
