So I am ordering some Dark Eldar pieces from GW.

I am dead set on purchasing

2 boxes of wyches

Lelith

A Ravager

2 Raiders

A box of Kabalite warriors ( I plan on making them true born) and this sits me at 204$$$

I have an additional 46 dollars to play with, and I wanted to get some Incubi, with Drazhar the master of blades, but I was not sure if I should just drop the incubi in favor of some hellions, or more warriors. I am pretty stuck on what will make a good starter army at the moment.

Drazhar might get a new model sometime, I would hold off on him. Besides he doesn't seem so great. I would get regular Incubi, you can even make a klaivex who counts as Drazhar until a new model comes out (assuming one will).

Also IIRC Drazhar has to be joined to Incubi. Btw the next wave of DE models comes around June so hopefully new Drazhar will show up then.

What kind of list are you going for? Wych, Kabalite, Haemonculus, Hellion, and so on?

Finally you can never go wrong with Raiders and Ravagers, and Venoms but those will be out in the summer

Well, I'd take Incubi if you would field a Lord but you don't.
What you need are some Haemonculi, giving their pain markers to the Wyches.
This will make them more survivable in cc or when the Raider crashes.

Well My price limit went up, so I am getting a Haemonculus

But you do recommend the Incubi?

Also, I am going for a Wych Cult, with almost 30 wyches and lelith as the HQ.

The Haemonculus will be the secondary.

I am getting the Kabalite warriors for the specific fact of making one of my raiders into a gunboat.

I was wondering if the Shard Carbine benefits from splinter racks.

Shardcarbine *IS* a splinter weapon, according to the codex. So, you're good there.

If you're going to pick up haemon's, I'd suggeest getting 3. You'll want as many of wych units to have them attached as possible.

No, you don't benefit from racks, they are splinter weapons, but they are not riffles or pistols, so don't qualify. They will qualify for the Dukes upgraded poison though.

I checked to make certain that the Shardcarbine was a splinter weapon, but didn't double-check the reading on the splinter rack.
I don't use either very much, and I remembered the rack a bit differently than what it is (obviously).

Well I sent the order through.

I am the proud owner of a Dark Eldar Army.

I can not wait for them to arrive so I can start kicking butt.

I ordered the majority of my force online, but it didn't take long to arrive.

Now I'm building a venom today to round out my 1500 point list. I can't wait to start the conversion.

Viper + raider/ravager bits + greenstuff = Venom
