Be sure to check out Steam's store for some great deals. I got Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising for 3 bucks and Battlefield Bad Company 2 for like 7 bucks.

It's great stuff, y'all. I was bummed about not having enough left on a gift card for Tropico, and then they halved the price. At that price maybe I'll even pick up BC2.

I'm going to hold out as long as possible (which means the lsat day, which IIRC is Jan 2), since money is tight right now, but I'm eyeballing R.U.S.E. the Silent Hunter collection + Silent Hunter 5, and a couple others...

First I got the Item Shop game, pretty fun but in a zany "You may be in purgatory" way. Just made a purchase of $26 on quite a few games today (indie mix up pack, tropico 3 gold, KOTOR, greed corp, PB winterbottom, and machinarium)

I think steam is a great way to get quite a few gems for cheaps. Only problem is, no internet=no games

Its funny, cuz I was eyeing PB winterbottom and machinarium not to long ago. I like the art style, but I'm not sure if I would enjoy the actual gameplay, because I'm more of a shooter/rpg/rts kinda guy, rather than a puzzler/platformer kinda guy.

Well I couldnt resist because of the price. 50 cents for PB and $3 for Mach was pretty darn good. You cant get prices like that unless its some obscure game found off ebay or something

Yeah, you make a good case. I just bought it, how could you not for $3.50?

I'm avoiding steam for the same reason I am the XBL game marketplace.

I lack the funds for new games. Especially as I'm saving for a new flat. xwX
