Just passing on the word that they are planning to show them next year. I hope thy dont disappoint!

Last year we previewed our then-to-be-released Oliver Cromwell model on Christmas morning and that seemed to go down so well with you that we thought we’d do the same again this year!

Here is the box art for our soon-to-be-released plastic British Commandos boxed set. We’ll be bringing you pics and other details of the set in the New year but for now check out this superb illustration by none other than Peter Dennis.

Crivens, if I had known we'd be getting Commandos I'd wait with the regular plastic British. Good stuff, I can hardly wait!

Ok guys, help me out here....I just had a look at Warlord miniatures site, and dang near $h1t myself when I saw the prices, and what you get in a box....WTF.....WTF

I mean, how can these guys produced miniatures, in plastic, and offer them at those prices and those quantities? Even Perry Miniatures is great value for money.

I mean, compare this to Geedub, and it makes you sick....I mean, really, whats going on.

This is how wargaming should be....ok, I'll pay more for high quality metal, and especially a low model count skirmish game...Infinity or MERCS, but when I saw the British Army dudes, I figured, hey, they'd make good alternative Imperial Guard....then I thought, maybe blow that, and just start playing Historicals.....

Man down, Man down....

Good value indeed. I might have to pick up a few of their metals. €1,76 per model or special blisters of two models for €3.52?

Ack nvm. Posting some error in my mind

Anyways I wonder if they're going to recycle their plastic weapons. Probably will, WL loves doing that to lower costs

I'm not so sure if the Commandos will have the same weapons sprue as the British infantry. Aren't these Commandos a bit more early war with their Thompsons and lack of Stens and PIATs?

Historically, I believe the Commandos came along later in the war.....but I didn't take history at school, I picked Geography, so I could be massively mistaken!

Man down, Man down....

The Bolt Action plastics are a great value, but even the metal boxes from the company are fantastic. Lots of them have separate heads, too.

A pack of Westwind's SOTR heads, and it's an easy route to some classy Weird War 2 figures.

Hi,
the main difference between the commandos and regular WWII troops is mainly the head gear and bergans (backpackl).

I'd imagine this will be covered by adding an extra spru to the brit box.

They do look good. Still to see the plastics up close.

big fan of the metals, but I would say that.

Thanks

Believe it or not when it comes to historicals these are pricier then most. Great stuff though I carry a lot of it at my webstore because they produce quality. In comparison though they "DO NOT" work well at all for IG conversions.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!
