If you look in the codex it says : he may replace his bolt PISTOL with a plasma pistol. then it also says : he may replace his BOLTER with the following twinlinked bolter or combi weapon. U must be able to av both weapons if you choose rite?

Yes he can have both.

Yes he has Pistol, Bolter and CCW to start(So you could have Combi-weapon, Plasma Pistol, and Power fist).

Nice! Bloody hell tho. Ive just took my plasma pistol off and put a combi melta on him! So there was no need to do that as i cud of just said the combi melta was in his wargear ! Duhhh

Upgrade weapons really ought to be modelled - especially something as potentially game changing as a meltagun.

To be honest im sick of plasma pistols getting hot and wounding my champions thats why i did it but still i cud of just kept it on not used it and used the bolter on th combi weapon ..... But then he wudnt be able to assult after firing rapid fire ...... Ummm was there any point of me changing him?

You can assault after firing a meltagun (because of it's Type)

Yes but you cannot assult after firing the bolter on the combi weapon right?
