I went to a tournament recently where the TO said I was off on the price of my Harlies. He used army builder (which I know isn't always reliable) but the price came out a lot lower for the squad than how I price them. I checked the FAQ and it says nothing about it. Let me know if I am way off, here.

My pricing:

Harlie + kiss =22pts x 10=220pts
Shadowseer upgrade is 30pts
Full squad with kisses plus shadowseer is 250.....right?

Army Builder had it at 12 points cheaper, which is the difference between an 18 point Harlie and a 30 point seer. The seer is 30 points on top of the 18, correct? Thus the term upgrade at +30 points.....or am I off?

I think army builder is wrong, but I would love for it to be right as that means more points to squeeze into the list!

Looks right @ 250 pts.

I'm not sure what version of Army Builder he's using, but I just brought up a 10-man squad with Shadowseer and Kisses and it comes to 250.

The codex clearly states that one Harlie may be upgraded to a Shadowseer for 30pts.

Yeah, I hear you. On the plus side, the Shadowseer isn't as mandatory as he used to be in 4th. If you're footslogging them you definitely want him, but if you're putting them in a transport, they can probably do without him, since they no longer need the grenades when assaulting into terrain.

That is a good point. In my Footdar he is a necessity. I was looking at a squad for DE as in a Raider they are so damned lethal. The range and hitting power is crazy. In my Footdar list they routinely wreck shop, but being able to deliver them 21"-27" would be nuts.
