Anyone in the Lower Alabama or florida panhandle? I'd be stunned if people actually game this far in the middle of nowhere lol. PM me if your in the area and want to set up a game.

Try Troy, there are bound to be some gamers on campus. I'm guessing you are stationed at Ft. Rucker... Montgomery isn't too far for a weekend, Visions Games is your choice there. I'm guessing there is something in Panama City but I don't know what.

Sounds promising, guess there are a few shops about an hour north of me. Troy probaly has players, but having drove through the town, I couldn't imagine anyone actually running a gaming store there.

I'm not stationed at Rucker, sadly. I'm still a civilian lol.

There is a pretty active 40k group in the Florida panhandle. We play at TBS Comics in the Fort Walton Beach store on Friday nights and in the Pensacola store on Saturday afternoon. The FWB store hosts a monthly 40k tournament (usually the last Sunday of the month).

TBS is hosting Coastal Assault 2011 (their largest 40k tournament to date) on January 29th at the Emerald Coast Conference Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL. 1850 pts. 4 rounds. Last year they had 30 players.

I am in Auburn, AL, but sometimes I play in Montgomery. I've heard there is a place in Dothan.

A place in Dothan would be outstanding.

Does anyone have regular tournaments in Montgomery? My brother and I travel up to Tennessee fairly often to play up at Dicehead, but Montgomery would be nice to add to our list of hotspots.

WH40K
Death Guard 5100 pts.
Daemons 3000 pts.

As mentioned, Visions is in Montgomery. I've never been there, but I have heard good things about it.

There is a gaming group and/or store, I believe, in the Mobile/Fairhope/Gulf Shores area, but I don't know for sure.

There used to be a gaming store in Dothan, but I think it closed; again, not sure.

There are a couple stores in the Birmingham area, possibly one in Cullman as well, and there is a very active gaming group in North Alabama (lots of tech, Nasa and military types up there).

I haven't played there, but there is a group in Gulf shores that plays at the old theater on either Saturdays or Sundays.

Not that I am aware of, but from Vision's website, it looks like they're having a 2000 point tournament this weekend.
