Didn't we talk about not having MTs on your Rialheads before? And the D'fish needs a DisPod.

A Bonding Knife might rally 2 suits.

So, 30 or so points to recover ... I really dislike the idea of a 'throw-away' suit like TL-FB suits, but I think it'd be best to trim off one FireKnife on the trio to make your tanks more effective.

The first bit of advice I agree with 100%. MTs on the Railheads will help a TON. And D-Pods are a must on all Tau vehicles.

The second bit I would say toss the TL-FB suit altogether. I think you have plenty of anti-tank with 5 railguns and the ability to fire at 4 different targets. You can use those points to up your Pathfinders or add some more kroot or kroot hounds.

Also, see if you can find a way to get Devilfish for your FWs. They'll be a lot more mobile and can contest objectives turn 4 or 5 while still keeping a safe distance from assault.

3 Kroot Hounds wouldn't be a bad option. 18 points for 6 more attacks at a higher initiative than the Kroot, plus a few more wounds to boot.

Your units are weak and will be destroyed with relative ease once in range. Just a heads up. Your crisis suits will not have a high hit ratio either.

I would get rid of a firewarrior unit, and get another devilfish with disruption pods and give it to one of the fire warrior units, while the other unit uses the pathfinder d-fish.

That will keep your firewarriors alive.

I just had an idea-what if I took 2 FWs from each unit, ;eaving 3 units of 6, and used the points to take a 2nd d-fish so I would have 2 d-fished units and 1 objective camping unit, as well as the kroot?

It'd be a push-pull; weakening your army by making the scoring units more fragile (smaller) but strengthening them with the D'fish. I'd say no, as I don't like a d'fish as it is too expensive to be *just* a transport. This is why I always run Warfish. Still, Stompy, it wouldn't be a *bad* change.

How has the list performed in the last three weeks?

It has performed fairly well.
I have won, but also lost, so I was wondering if that tweak would help.

I think the tweak would help. I really don't like devilfish as a transport, but they are almost necessary to keep your fire warriors alive.

I didn't use them for about a year, and then one day I decided to do an experimental list using 2 warfish with my fire warriors, and that was the first game in a while a won against nids (maybe even my first victory against them). They kept my fire warriors out of assault, and the disruption pods kept them safe from incoming fire.

Maybe you could just test this for a game, and see how it goes for you.
