Possessed Khorne Marine Covered in Spikes

On a hate rampage.

I was staring at my Trygon model earlier and the thought occured to me-How do those things move? Do they worm along the ground like a snake, or scuttle with those various sized spikes and claws? What do you think?

I'd say that most of the time they use their claws to drag them along whilst burrowing, use their claws to drag them along the ground if they want to get anywhere fast above ground and the rest of the time move like Medusa did in the original version of Clash of the Titans. As I recall there was an in joke about this in one of the chapter approved articles for the Harridan. =P

I imagine them moving like a snake, using the spikes to grip when moving above or below ground.

Harridans have no landing gear =P

There was a mod for Dawn of War that depicted the Trygon worming like a snake. However since it was unofficial take it with a grain of salt. Official material in the past stated that the Trygon's scything talons were specifically designed to be shovel-like for swift movement through dirt. I think i also read somewhere that they had scales that vibrated at sonic speeds to loosen dirt, however this may be from something else.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
