I'm thinking of starting an Eldar army soon, and the craftworld that most appeals to me color-scheme wise is the Lugganath craftworld.

According to various sources, they have close ties with Harlequins, which is good for me because I like the models and as long as they can perform decently on the table, I'll have a unit of them.
But there isn't much other fluff on the Lugganath craftworld. Does anyone know what other choices would be good? For both fluff reasons and game reasons?

Well there isn't much written on the craftworld but here is a good link for some information

If you look in the picture lower down on the page there is a picture of the craftworld in the picture is a wave serpent. Sorry there really isn't much fluff on the topic, on that note it means any fluff you create is fair game

I'd say that having the army core be a Farseer, Rangers (fellow renegades) and Harlequins would be perfect. They fight mostly chaos, so building a list which is well stacked against CSM and Daemons would be my recommendation.

Maybe something like:

Farseer w/cool stuff = 100-130

Harlequins
Kisses and other nasties
= 150-200

Wave serpent
w/guns and shiny bits
=115-130

Dire Avengers or Guardians
=100-200

5+ Rangers
=95+

Prism or Falcon?
=150+

-------------------------

You could assemble a core of about 750 points, then work into whatever units you like to use from there. With such open fluff, there's really no way to go seriously wrong.

Thanks, Iboshi, that's really helpful. I will keep your list skeleton in mind when I do write up a list.

I'd take one or two units of Harlies (6 Harlies w/ kisses) mounted in Falcons (stones, holofield, 2x shuricannon).
Then add two full bladestorming DA units in Serpents (stones, scatterlaser or shuricannon)
led by Farseer (doom, both runes).
This should be a decent start.
Add one or two units of Fire Dragons depending on the number of Harlie squads,
and some HS units (Prisms, eventually naked).
