for higher points I was considering Warbuggies modeled like pump wagons or chariots...something very crude

You could drop the grot squads down to 29 grots with 2 runt herds, saving 96 points. Then take away all the gear from the KFF meks, saving an additional 110 points.

Then throw in a couple of dreads for more stompy madness. You can envision your dreads filled with a crew of grots trying desperately to control the pile of scrap metal.

You could instead throw in some buggies or coptas converted with grots at the controls. You could include looted wagons or battle wagons piloted by grots.

I have seen mega-grots converted out of all sorts of bits.

If you have a huge bits box it probably wouldn't be much of a stretch to build some grot tanks from IA8.

They count as Elites choices in a regular Ork army as long as you have a Big Mek.

I have been in love with Forgeworld Grot Tanks for some time now. But as they cost like 58£ and that is way too expensive for me. So if you find a good solution how to convert some grot tanks out of bits. Please, please tell me how you did it. Or show a tutorial
