Well this christmas I've ended up with a land raider and a crusader/redeemer which is due sometime (depends on the post). Anyway, weapons wise, is it possible to do these two LRs ,one as a Crusader and the other as a Redeemer? Are the standard weapons ports on the LR capable of taking different weapons other than the lascannons?

I am not sure because I don't play marines anymore... But I think you can just convert the redeemer/crusader weapons on the classic lr's ports if they don't fit already.

There is just 1 basic plastic Land Raider kit.
So any weapon config of GW or FW fits.

Make sure you don't get a hybrid LRC kit, ( old LRC had metal hurricane bolters/weapon mount ),the 2 actual kits "LandRaider" or "LRCrusader/Redeemer" are fine.
All parts are interchangable and plastic.

If you're up for a bit of customizing you can build all of the weapon options and use magnets instead of glue attaching them, then swap as desired

Why dont you just shim the land raider doors then get the spure kit and the crusader/redeemer bits can be swapped

I must have been lucky, cause with my Land Raider, the weapons fit almost as if they were snap on ones, as long as you didn't glue the two parts of the weapons (bolters and auspex, flamers and tanks etc) on, and using blu tac on the weapon cover, mean i had an easily configurable Crusader/Redeemer with zero effort.

Thanks for the info guys. Now all I need is the crusader kit to be delivered!

Actually, since both the crusader and the redeemer have twin-linked assault cannons, and only the crusader/redeemer kit has a pair of them, with those two kits you will end up lacking one twin-linked assault cannon, if I'm not missing something here.

And you know what's funny? "feth" is actually censored on a forum about a dystopia where the nice guys are the ones who kill only millions of innocents, not billions.

To be honest, it doesn't really matter that much, its the standard wargear, so in a way doesn't even need to be on the model...(although it probably should be, and if you get the chance to get a Assault Cannon, you should get one....)
