Logan Grimar is 700 years old. That's pretty olld.
Dante is 1000 or so.
The oldest i know is either Dante or that guy in the Salamander novel. If you count dreadnoughtts then Bjorn the fell-handed. If you count warp people then CSM and 13th company.

There we go.

Not senile but all SW have to wrestle with the urge not to go wulfen. He's in stasis like the other dreads because you really don't want to have an insane wolf dreadnought with 10k years of experience.

LegacyOfBaal wrote:They keep Bjorn asleep because the strain of being awake compromises his continued existence. The systems that maintain him are incredibly old so that don't want to strain them either. But in times of duress when they need one of the greatest Wolf Lords council they wake him from slumber.

They woke in him the first Space Wolf book.

That was probably overkill but i suppose they couldn't take any chances.

If Alpharius is alive then there is evidence that marines are pretty immortal. If not well there's the guy in the Salamanders novel. Dante's geneseed helps with aging so he will probably live (or not die from aging) for a long time.
SW geneseed is dodgy with aging. Logan Grimnar however is 700 years old and still going strong so i guess he'll be around a while longer.

He hasn't aged in stasis so he doesn't count.

I know, but somebody said earlier in the thread that he was dead, and that isn't the case.

Well it's basically a coin flip between dead and very nearly dead with no hope of recovery. He might be alive or he might be dead. He might be healing (hough this is discounted by most of the Ultramarines).
