In the rule book there is no explaination how to do an initative test.problem being my friend has deffcoptas in order for him to hit and run he takes an initative test. He is saying that he rolls a d6 + his i and compare it to the models hes in combat with and get them to roll + i. Im saying no its he rolls a d6 and has to be equal or under his i. Trouble being there is no where in the brb supporting what an i test is!!!

Ah you are from our wonderfull country. From your comment i immedialy thought you were a yank!!!

(1) If you post from your phone, as I often do, please be aware you are still expected to follow the rules. That includes making an effort at being coherent and avoiding internet slang.

(2) Please avoid insulting innuendo regarding nationality.

Page 8 of the BGB deals with this under the heading Characteristic Tests.

Also, this should be in You Make Da Call, not Proposed Rules. YMDC is where rules questions are answered and argued over endlessly, ending in name calling and threatening to take our models and go home. Proposed Rules is where people come up with their own rules and we tear them down for their idiotic ideas.

Also also, DakkaDakka tries to be a somewhat intellectual community aimed at the gamer and modeler that we all are. As such, we try to stay away from the texting and 1337-speak that is often seen on the internet. It's not that we're stupid and don't understand, it's that we're actively combating the intellectual void that is the internet.

Rivers why'd you have to go get involved?

Now I have to retort with.....

What's wrong with tea you damned colonial savage?!

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

We Americans have no issue with tea. We just think it looks better floating around in Boston Harbor.
