hey there people, i have some eldar questions.

first of is how to i count the points for a Wave Searpent, in the codexs it said 90p/model. So if i get this i take 90p+ 8p (guardians) and it ends on 98p?
or is it 98*10=980p for me that sorta feels not right.

and my other question is.

if you have a troop of guardians you can take a warlock for +25p. now do i count is as 25+25=50p or do i count it as 8+25=33p

and my last question is.

what wepons do i take on a Wraithlord for anit-tank? as i get it the best is to take Bright lance and missile launcher on the big guy.

You don't add the point cost of the Guardians to the Wave Serpent. However the total of every unit in the army has to be added together to work out the point total of the army. Treat the Wave Serpent as a separate unit points wise.

For the Warlock it's the same as the Wave Serpent thing. You aren't upgrading a Guardian to a Warlock so you do not need to add the 8 for the Guardian to the 25 for the Warlock. For Example a group of ten Guardians would be 80 points, throwing in the Warlock would bring that squad's cost to 105 points.

The Wraithlord sounds alright to me. I prefer to take lots of EMLs though my list. I don't really have many Bright Lances, but that is because stuff like Land Raiders are extremely uncommon in my area. It seems to focus more on characters and elite squads than vehicles here.

ok sweet man, thx for the answer i get it now. you take 80+90 = 170 and that is the cost for the troop and WS. it all makes a lot more senst to me.

and for the warlock question i guss it is the same thing for warp spiders when taking the excarh that you add the totel cost for that guy at
the end. So if i take 5 spiders that gives me 110p (22p a pop) that gives me 110+excarh cost = x ???

as for the Wraithlord a lot of players over here have landriders and tanks overall so i will take that combo on that dude. is it best to take one Wraithlord or two ?? i know that they are slow and a lot of people will tell me to take a falcon or prisma, but i just love the Wraithlord.

Remember those guardians must buy a weapon platform(if they are defenders), and the WS must buy a turret weapon. So the cost will go up a bit more.
Depending on the points level your playing at, WL can be great! Running 2 in 1k is very nice, but when you start hitting 1.5k+ the amount of AT that comes there way can bring them down fast.

Depends on the points and what they're versing. The Shuriken cannon is nice and cheap, but the EML is versatile. However the Scatter Laser isn't really a bad option either. As for the others, they're not a really good idea thanks to the BS of the Guardians and the abundance of cover in 5th ed.

Best bet is not to glue the gun to the platform - that way you can swap it later.
