Can you guys please help me get this list to a fairly competative level?

1500pts list
Librarian - 100 pts
Sternguard squad- 5 men, sergeant with bolter , 4 with combimeltas melta bombs Razorback transport TL - Heavy Bolter - 190pts

Sternguard squad- 5 men, sergeant with bolter , 4 with combimeltas melta bombs Razorback transport TL heavy bolter - 190pts

Tactical squad- 10 men ,1 with plasmacannon, 1 with Flamer Rhino melta bombs-215pts

Tactical squad, 10 men 1 with missile launcher, 1 with Flamer melta bombs, Rhino-210pts

Predator- auto cannon, lascannons- 120pts

Assault Terminators- 5 man - 200pts
Land Raider Crusader-MultiMelta Extra armour-275pts

Additions for 2000pts list

Terminator chaplain to go with Terminators -130pts

Predator- Auto cannon, lascannons- 120pts

Dreadnought- TL- Assault cannon, dreadnought close combat weapon - 115pts

Scout squad- Telion, 4 sniper rifles, missile launcher -135pts

This sinks to the bottom of the list so quickly.

Your mileage with the sternguard is going to very, they will be most effective against monsterous creatures, like some of the larger nids, they will be less effective against every thing else. At 1500 points I think there are better ways to spend the points then sternguard...

Going up to 2000 points, you really need atleast 3 full troop selections, 2 tacticles and half of a scout squad isn't going to be enough. Id recommend atleast three full tacticles. There really isnt a reason to put a Chaplin in terminator armor unless your going to be teleporting the termators onto the board.

Dont waste points to razorbacks and meltaboms take drop pod to sternguards much better and Land rider doesnt need Extra armours. Take one sternguard squad and replace it with 10 man tactical squad or I recomment that you take something wargear to librarian and take tactical upragdes to tactical and sternguar squads and replace ac with tl lascannon. Dreadnought is with tl lascannon and missile launcher (tank hunter dn) or ironclad dreadnought (assault dn)

Droppod- 35pts

Tactical squad- 10 men ,1 with plasmacannon, 1 with Flamer Rhino -210pts

Tactical squad, 10 men 1 with missile launcher, 1 with Flamer , Rhino-205pts

Predator- auto cannon, lascannons- 120pts

Landspeeder Tornado- multi-melta-70pts

Assault Terminators- 5 man - 200pts
Land Raider Crusader-MultiMelta -260pts

Additions for 2000pts list

Predator- Auto cannon, lascannons- 120pts

Dreadnought- TL- lascannon, missile launcher- 145pts

Tactical squad, 10 men 1 with missile launcher, 1 with Flamer , Rhino-205pts

Upgrade landspeeder to typhoon missile launcher, and add two more combi meltas on the sternguard squad- 30pts extra
