So I have painted for a bunch of years, but played my first game last week. Just had a question so that next time I get the right amount of attacks.

Q: If a Terminator with lightning claws launches an assault -- does he get 4 total attacks? ( A 2 + 1 for assault + 1 for 2 CC weapons)?

I know its a simple question, just wanted to make sure I had a definitive understanding of it though, thanks!

Yeah, correct and well.

It get's even funnier when khorne termie champs are charging in.

If I use -><- I'm not mocking you, it's a reflex from using the " silly" icon on every other forum.
However, if I use this -><- I might just mock you.

which gets even weirder, seeing how you americans tend to use [the F-word] more often in various meanings than a smurf would use "smurf".

Yes.

He's got 2 attacks base.

He gets +1 for charging.

He gets +1 for having a pair of lightning claws (which have to be a pair in order to get +1 attack)

Yes, and I'll give you a hint; don't forget that with LC they get to re roll failed rolls to wound. With a termi chaplain they can reroll misses on their assault turn as well. This combo gives you on average, in my experience, 10-15 unsaved wounds with 5 LC termis, against most troops units... DEADLY.
Another hint, send them with a LR Crusader, with 5 LC, 2 TH, Termi Chap (8 termis will max it out)... With Shrike as your HQ, attached to a Vanguard or Att-Sq somewhere else, he'll give you'll fleet, and your termis can leave the LR, run, then assault (2"+D6"run+6"assault move- that's up to a move of 14"). You'll have to help your opponent get his jaw off the floor on turn one.

Awesome! Well that certainly makes them little Beasts! I think I was missing out on an extra attack last week then....was also missing out on my Sanguinary Priests 'feel no pain' rules!

Also, Im at work and dont have my rule books with me today, but can someone tell me the benefit of a Storm Shield and a Combat Shield? Thanks

No, you need your rulebook for that -we cant just give out rules wholesale. they both give invulnerable saves, one al the time and another just in combat, from memory.

@MisterMoon

Thats a great idea! I am working on the mech part of my army right now. I have the LRC and a Term Chaplain but also am considering adding a Term Priest. All are in various stages of production right now (not my MO to play with anything that hasnt been painted).

Amen brotha, amen...

not entirely sure of BA rules but...

The Termi librarian goes GREAT with 5-10 man stern in a drop pod. Same applies, with the LC termis, I get 15+ unsaved wounds with Sternguard depending on ammo chosen and who I'm firing against.

Gate of infinity is your best friend.
