Where can I see what bitz come in a box of something like for example do 4 lascannons come in a 5 man Havoc CSM box or do I have to order a packet of bits or the singles shown on GW website?

If you go on the Games Workshop website and look at the 'Product List' sections for the armies and find the set you're after the newer plastic kits have pictures of the sprue(s) on the site, some of the older kits that don't have these sprues pictures might have the contents in the description. If it has neither you'll just have to ask those who have bought the box before.

The Havoc Squad mentions it comes with variations but that's just for the cosmetic bitz. It comes with one of each of the weapons shown on the box. It should mention it on the back of it under contents or something.

GW only gives variations where it doesnt affect gameplay. Otherwise they'll sell it as a separate product, like the types of servitors and Chaos Lords.
