Maybe better deployment of Creed would help. Hide him in a building or some thing.

If he keeps dying first or second turn, I'd be inclined to say that's your fault, not his.

It takes a tactical genius to use Creed. Or just a guy holing him up in a building, either way keep his pudgy ass alive.

Hes worth it for the jokes IMO,
'Why yes, I just out flanked 3 LRMBT's. Shut your mouth now, your drooling on my table.'

I've never been particularly impressed with Creed.
Giving out 4 orders a turn is ho-hum given that what you want to give orders to has terrible leadership and no access to voxes (and bringing kell makes for a VERY expensive squad), while for the glory of cadia arguably makes line infantry WORSE due to fearless rules.
Meanwhile, there isn't a whole lot that's worth outflanking, as you're bringing rear armor 10/11 vehicles CLOSER to assault, and al'rahem outflanks infantry better.
I've been nearly convinced that there are a few, very narrow, hypothetical situations where he'd be worth taking, but over all, he just costs a lot for what little he does, even when he does survive.

heh heh heh. That's either because my scouts get to him or my LR does.
hole him up in a chimera without kell. kell's a waste IMO.
try using the outflank more- I can't remember a game where you've used it. Buy a few leman russes or maybe some hellhounds. They'll make his points up.
-hole him up in a building, far away.
-don't take kell. take a veteran/infrantry squad to keep him company/meatshield him.
-use outflank.
-go to ground lots.
-maybe give him a transport.
and as a reward for remembering to outflank, in our games I'll shout "CREEEEED!" unless i'm in the FLGS.

Many opponents have fallen to triple banewolves outflanking.
Creed is very good.
