I was thinking about this topic this weekend over some wine with my buddies, and we never really came to a consensus.

What would make your wargaming lives easier? One great example is Battlefoam. Battlefoam came into the market and revolutionized carrying cases for the masses.

What's the next big thing for Miniatures? What is it that you desperately want but isn't available?

The only thing I could think of was somekind of case that can hold and army, books, and accessories (dice, tape, templates, ipod, etc) and was still not super bulky.

What do you guys think?

Compulsory sterilisation after your first born child.

Eventually, once the population reduces to a more manageable size, you could allow people to have more than one child again.

If I am not in my room, is it still my room?

I'd say some sort of wide beam laser pointer. You could stick it to the models head (or weapon mount for vehicles) and light up everything visible to the model. It would make LOS checks much less debatable and simplify the 50% blockage of MCs/Vehicles.

Way to completely ignore the question...thanks for adding to the conversation.

Guys I want to know what will make your "Wargaming" lives better please.

Not to want to try to add to the abuse, but this is Off-Topic... on a wargaming forum. You might have more luck in Dakka Discussions.

I was serious about the Martini glass also. I knocked it and tried to catch it on New Years. Had to stop the game till I could get the bleeding to stop.

Yeah, this should be in Dakka Discussions, not the Off-Topic section, especially if you're looking for somewhat serious answers.

For me the answers are simple...

Re-Release of/or release of Praetorians/plastic Mordian/Praetorian kit...this alone would cause me to turn back flips down the street.

Chaos Legions Codex/Codices...Ditto on the back flips.

I like KCs Idea about an interchangeable gaming table as well, though something a bit more doable could consist of 6 one foot by one foot plastic squares with different "surfaces" on opposite sides, for example, urban on one side/wasteland on the other.

The squares would be able to be snapped into a special gaming board, and flipped when a different type of terrain was desired.

We used to use a term 'figure friendly terrain' back in the stone age of 40K. Even now a lot of scenery looks great, but it isn't 'friendly' to the figures. i.e. steps to a building or temple that can actually accommodate a figures base without it sliding and falling. At my last game club, the head honcho made these great forests with removable trees. They were amazing for fantasy games.

Of course, I am still a fan of homemade scenery as opposed to the kits that are out there from GW or other makers. If you're into building scenery there are two books which you should keep your eye out for on the interwebs or wherever. 'How to build Dioramas' by Shepard Paine - this is the gak. Then there is the grandpa of scenery, the source for a lot the GW techniques, 'Stan Cathcpol's Modelling Workshop'. This Catchpol guy did a lot of articles in Military Modelling back in the 70s. My copy is from 1983. Excellent content.

FITZZ - Yea my brother and I had a similar idea. We were going to make some large chunks of terrain on a 1 by 1 that way if we wanted say a city fight, we would just pop out the city terrain and same for mountains/desert and what have you. It would certainly make the games a bit more exciting then just playing on the same ol table

More Space Marines.

I mean hell, Ultramarines are what, 2/3 years old now? They are due for a complete overhaul to bring them more in line with the power level of newer codex's.

Blue marines are best marines right? We can't have Team Edward or Jacob marines more powerful then the Smurfs!

(I'm kidding, don't kill me!)
