Hello everyone,

Its been a little while since we posted on here. We actually changed our name so please don't let the posting count keep you from replying. The whole Battle Foam team is excited about 2011.

We have big plans for our Privateer Press side of the house. We started this year off by launching the new P3 Paint Case that everyone can see below. You can also check out videos on this bag and our other Privateer Press products by clicking on the link.

http://battlefoam.com/catalog.php?item=479&catid=62&ret=catalog.php%3Fcategory%3D62

Bag Features

- Designed by Battle Foam with Privateer Press
- MSRP of $69.99
- Release Date Jan 3rd
- Street Date Jan 21st
- Storage for all P3 Paints, Hobby Tools, Brushes, Inks, Washes and several models.
- P3 Bag includes 3 custom cut foam trays designed specifically for Privateer Press Customers
- P3 Bag conveniently zips directly onto the bottom of all Warmachine and Hordes Bags.

The bigger reason for this post is to ask you guys for ideas. It is not often that companies reach out to their customers and openly ask, "what do you guys what to see us produce"?
This can be anything from foam tray cut outs to new bag ideas, to general storage products.

We have a bunch of items in store for 2011 but we may not have thought of everything. That's why we need you. Feel free to let it rip on the thread with ideas or questions. We will check it daily and stay on top of questions or comments.

Thanks to everyone that has supported our brand and we look forward to more new products for this year.

To be honest... I really love the case and the configuration you have there... very clean and very... welll aesthetically pleasing.

I don't mean to be crass when I ask this though, but do you have any plans to make a similar case for 'teardrop bottles' such as the size of reaper paints? Just curious. Thanks

Hello Revarien,

We currently have two ways for you to fit those Reaper or Vallejo paints.

1. You can select from our hobby trays that give you the exact cut out for those.

2. You can check out our Custom Tray Creator and build the exact foam tray you want featuring any size tray that fits the bag of your choice.

Check out the links below to find out more.

I hate to say it, but maybe you should reconsider your practice to name your trays with GW trademarks without marking them as such, see CHapterhouse lawsuit.

Here's something that just popped into my head, how about something for dice? I'm always breaking the drawstrings or dropping them and losing them. How about something like a square cozy to store dice in? You could make it so it fits in the case or attaches via something keychain hook. I haven't visualized it yet, but if you could combine it into some sort of dice boot that would be pretty neat. Call it the Ammo pack or something I know you have big pockets for dice on the existing bags, but I have several bags and have to dig the dice out and hope I don't drop and lose any (which still happens all the time). I personally think something detachable would be nice. Some people do more than Wargame, and may want something universal to store their dice in so they don't need to lug their bag around.

Have you thought about branching out into slipcases or messenger type bags to support RPG's?

Haha, and a ridiculous thought, how about a refrigerated pack? I'm always juggling my 40 or 6 pack and want to keep it cold You could make the Canteen pack

Hi Dez,

Those are some good ideas and we'll totally look into them.

I guess I should rephrase the question.

What would you guys like to see for Warmachine and Hordes in the coming year?

That should help a bit more.

Thanks Dez

Gaming:
A game table made like the Display board but more affordable than the RoB from GW.
new display board tiles ( trenches, urban rubble)
More tray options for the Pack Max.

Non gameing...
Gun cases , yep I'm going there, custom cut foam for long, and pistols. The stuff would be great, as well for Guitars and other long musical instruments.

Business side:
got to get better with reading emails on orders, and communications about custom cut foam.

40k radio keeps getting better with every show.

Maybe a zip-top soda-can-size tray that has a carabiner clip to attach to the figure bag. The carabiner holds the zippered top to soda-can-size tray on the figure bag so you don't lose it. Inside the round soda-can-size tray is an empty dice bag which holds a dice cup that comes out. Now you can put your cold drink in an insulated holder so it doesn't sweat on the table, dump all your dice in the bag and have a cup for shaking and rolling. If the cup is sturdy you can drink from it and/or use it for water when you paint. I could use two right now because I know I will not always clean the paint brush water as well as I should.

Heck, throw in some Battle Foam logo dice and you have a great promo item too.

And while I was posting you redirected the discussion to, "What would I like for Privateer Press?" I got nothin' there...

Hi TobyDog,

Gaming - We really have no plans to do a large scale board. GW has already done this and the product is really nice. Just making a cheaper price version is something that does not fall into our business practices. Unless we can better a product we don't tackle it.

The display board tiles will be released at some point in the future. We are waiting to see if the GW tournament circuit starts up for this year before moving forward with more tiles.

The PACK Max has unlimited options for foam trays. All you need to do is custom trace your items and we'll cut the foam. Pre making trays for such a huge bag does not really make sense at this time.

Non Gaming

We already do foam for gun cases, pistols, bows, and general hungting gear. We have a huge line of hard sided cases releasing in a few months for our Battel Foam Elite Arms side of the house. We also do foam for medical equipment and musical gear. We have done these types of projects for the past 2 years. Please call to find out prices if you need something like this done.

Business Side

We normally get 60 to 80 emails each day from all around the world. Our office staff is on top of things as much as 3 people can be. We always recommend calling us if you have a specific question that needs answering. This way you can be sure someone has helped you out quickly.

Thanks for the 40k Radio comments. We are trying hard to make it a great show again.

How about Factional Bags? Nothing like showing your Trollbloods pride!

How about factional Warpacks/Battle Boxes? Comes in something the size of a C4 or so, and includes your Faction of choice Starter Pack as well as the paint set for that faction.

Seconding NAVARRO on that, my Dire Trolls are just too big I didn't mention it, because I assumed 'Custom Cut Trays' would be the answer.

How about more support to europe? I bought the pack 1520 some years ago from the us site, but in Denmark we have to add 25% tax and 8% import tax to the cost, so it can get really expensive really fast if you're not shopping from within the EU.

I know you have Waylandgames as european reseller, but they take upwards to 6 months with getting stuff send out, constantly keep making promises about the Hordes bag comming in stock that they can't keep and have no custom tray function.

I really, really love the BF product, but man oh man is it hard to get a hold of in Denmark.

Hope I didn't come of too whiny, really love the product so have fought a few battles with Wayland over it

Cheers

Nope never, I was under the impression that wayland games had exclusive rights in europe. But will definately check them out, they look cheaper and can't be slower.

However, I would still love an option for custom foam in europe.

Gorlack - Please be patient for just a few more months. Big things are happening for the UK and EU market regarding Battle Foam this spring.

That's all I can say for now.

Sounds great Romeo! But not really that much of a surprise. I figured that the perfectionists at BF ciouldn't be happy with how things have been running up until now.

Cheers.
