When I saw this guy, I had to have him. Wonderful, wonderful sculpt. And unlike most Anima Tactics characters, he only comes in 2 pieces and is very easy to assemble. An absolute joy to paint. Although I did get the paint a bit thick on his swords. I didn't think I'd use so many layers for the blending. I decided on making him darker skin before I saw his actual artwork, and I think it looks better on him that way. Lovely model, if you enjoy painting miniatures, you must buy him.
Sadly, the lighting in this picture doesn't do the model much justice, but it's the best I can get.

The models are 32mm scale, but they're a fair bit taller and lankier than GW models.

I like the blending on the swords. Muscle definition's nicely picked out too. Good work all round. Any more Anima Tactics examples to show?

Soon. I'm working on Clover right now. Spent forever just wet blending his jacket.
Right now, I'm painting up a bunch. Hopefully I can get them done within 2 weeks:
Marchosias (done)
Clover (half done)
Iosara
Samiel, the Black Lion
Promethea
Styx
Type 005 (2)
The Colonel
Harod
Hell
XII
Some of them are from a while back, and just poorly painted and in need of a repaint. But most of them I bought because I figure that it'd be a good game to play with people who don't want to have a full game of 40k. And just look at the models!

Nice work Fafnir
look forward to seeing the others.
Have just "finished" XII but am not happy with him so maybe seeing more of your AT figures won't be such a good idea

Have you resurrected this topic from the dead just to get me back to work on these guys (I'll admit I've been neglecting them for my truescales. But now that they're all done, it's time to get some good painting in before the Grey Knights release and my Manticore arrives)?
I got a whole Sameal team to finish (Just for the sake of getting Dinah, Dark Cheshire, Kujaku Hime, and Bael).
After that, I just need to find someone to play with (and with rules this good, it shouldn't be this hard!).
I figure since I won't be going out Drinking on Wednesday as usual (gotta get ready for St. Patrick's day, as a University student, it might as well be a religious holiday) it's almost a, it'll be as good a time as ever to get painting!

Glad I found the thread any road!
Need to finish off Bael and Dark Cheshire myself
Also nearly finished a few Church figures for my daughter.
Disgraceful how long it is taking

Nice, he's make a good Rand al Thor model with a bit of work on the swords.
