I'm looking for tropical / jungle fauna basing. Ferns, bamboo, reeds etc. I also want a whiter sand for basing...

Thanks for any suggestions.

FYI: I'm doing a jungle SM army, so any other suggestions for how to flock the army, and any other jungle ideas would be appreciated.

Sand the base as normal.

Do not use static grass.

Atenociti's workshop do some brass etch foliage that is suitable - this needs scribing and kinking before it looks good. The ferns are ok just bent. They also do some various flowers and shrubby things that work quite well.

Use a mix of clump foliage and coarse turf (it's chopped up sponge basically) rather than static grass.

Also apply fallen leaves and branches (bits of twig) as you would for a woodland base.
