OK, I understand that vehicles are made minorly differently from forge-world to forge-world,But what if these modifications could have an in game effect.Here`s what i`m thinking:The russ/senital/hellhound/etc. could take "Patterns" As an Upgrade,
I.E.
A Ryza pattern russ would have an pintle-mounted auto-cannon,but AV 11 Side armor
A Catachan pattern hell-hound would have a TL heavy flamer,but av 11 frontal armor
A Mars pattern senital would be able to mount TL multilasers,but would lose move through cover
The list could go on and on....
This would add depth to cannon of a players army as well.
Thoughts would be gladly appreciated

Ryza: I wouldn't lose 2 points of armour just for a pintle Autocannon. Maybe if by lowering the armour value, you removed the effect of Lumbering Behemoth which slowed it down.

Catachan: A Hellhound already has an Inferno Cannon and a Heavy Flamer, adding another TL one is just...can't think of a word to describe it, but it just seems pointless.

I'm not sure. But I would like to see Co-Axial weapons in standard 40K.

I'd love different tank makes. It wouldn't be too hard to do and would add a lot of possibilities.

I meant that the inferno cannon would becomen TL ,not just tacking on a TL flamer.
