So i recently played an apoc game and i tried to deepstrike a 10man squad of termies into the range of my enemies Disruptor beacon. He rolled the 4+ and proceeded to place my lone sgt on the corner of the board. I didnt scatter.... so i couldnt place all my models and rolled on the mishap table..reinsert squad into reserves. but it was turn 3. in apoco the remaining reserves come in on turn three. does that mean that there is not turn 4 or 5 reserves and the squad that mishapped are waisted reguardless what i rolled in this senario?

According to the Apocalypse book you have to commit everything else on turn 3, however there is another paragraph seperate from that.

The seperate paragraph says when deep striking units are commited they may walk on or deep strike on the turn they are commited to battle. As the mishap table puts them back into reserves they technically haven't been commited to battle in the apocalypse sense, and may enter the following turn. This is because you did commit them turn three when you were supposed to, and they ended up back in strategic reserve. Hence when they are in reserve they aren't commited yet, and may be commited on the following turn though it says nothing about turn 4 strategic reserves.

Also your opponent had to put them somewhere they could legally be placed, so the whole squad doesnt mishap as the sarge couldnt have been placed in the corner.

Yeah, it sounds like your opponent was trying to screw you over. Your reserves should have arrived on turn 3.

no, they did arrive on turn 3, thats when the mishap happened, the issue is wether or not they would be allowed to come in on turn 4 because by the end of turn three there are no more reserves

Thunderchild - yes, they could have come in turn 4, as the rules for apoc state.

HOWEVER as your opponent could place the models there in the first place (to cause another mishap) it is irrelevant.
