This is my current list, and i need to cut 95 point off of it to get it to 2000 pts:

HQ:

The total of this list is 1830 points, and i need to get it down to 2000. I was thinking of replacing the LoC or the bloodcrushers? any suggestions?

The LoC replaced with another herald would work.

Yeah thats definitely one of the two options im considering, question now would be which? I have the masque model, and although she is fragile, she can turn a game with one or more of her pavanes so maybe LoC replaced by the masque and another icon on the plaguebearers to make it one squad of pb's in each wave?

That works if I remember right doesn't the masque have a 3+ inv? I think shes pretty durable plus here stats are pretty nice.

I would drop the Nurglings completely, split one horror squad to be two minimum sized ones with Bolt,then drop the LoC and/or replace him with two Chariots/Masque.

This should net you 70 points from the LoC and a few more points after you retool your troops choices. Remember you already have an icon on the crushers.

Yeah she does, though only 3 toughness and 2 wounds lets her down with that, and she can be killed by small arms fire reasonably easily.

Why drop them? in my view they are a very valuable unit for tying up high point independent characters from your opponent for potentially the whole game. 3 wounds and a 5 plus INVULNERABLE save, for only 13 points a base is a bargain in my honest opinion. Good for elites such as meganobz squads, as the power klaws gain no benefit, or even MC's such as tyranid trygons etc, because it will take forever for the trygon to cleave through them.

I will probably change the LoC to the masque, which would give me around 75 points spare. I might just halve my horrors squad 50 5, give them bolt, and with the points left get a basic daemon prince to fill up the last HS slot maybe?

That works too, I tend to look at them as Scarab Swarms with EW which play a role in an army that needs to lock units in place, but for Daemons you are so nasty in assault anyway noone wants to be in h2h anyway.

I think the extra bolt would pay bigger dividends at the end of the day and that was more a 'side' recommendation to the main one of swap the LoC. I do like your list in general, it looks fun to play.

I'd drop some upgrades basically, and some models from the troops department. I think you've added too many goodies which aren't all that needed nor make the unit/madel in question much better.

Like this idea, however when you have a bolt in a 9 strong squad of horrors, by choosing to fire the bolt, you are forfeiting 27 warpfire shots which can do big damage, for something that only hits half the time, due to the horrors low BS...

I would never get a chance to use the bolt with the horrors really, which is why we suggested a 10 and a 5 man squad in the last post.

Also, maybe swap the LoC for the masque and another tzeerald, then have 10 man horrors + changeling, and a 5 man horror + bolt?

This comes out at exactly 2000 points. Thoughts?

Only change I might make it top drop hide from the Tzeetch prince and add in that 6th Fiend. Otherwise it looks pretty good and it fits with what you had expressed is your playstyle.

The only problem i have with fiends is that they are ridiculously expensive in real life....

I know I managed to pickup 5 for 40 bucks at a clearance sale a year ago and I still regret not taking all 10.

Search around there are some neat conversion ideas for them. I would use the new Seeker steeds myself to convert them but others have used Cold Ones, 'nette torsos with spider bodies and other combinations.

or i guess you could just buy seekers and masquerade them as fiends?
