Well this is it. time to start posting.

There won't be much at first but I will update this first thread every time i have a update.

First off, i will apologise for the quality of the first few pictures, my son inavertintly had "fun" with daddy's camera this morning, thus i need to buy a new one.
I just wanted to show my prototype wolverine so far and get what limited C&C i can get.

As this is a prototype you will see it is not fully painted but the front armour is what the base colour will be.
It's not even fully glued yet, i just have it balancing there, so if it looks odd thats why

Wolverine mark V1.0

First off, both dread guns where cut off and greenstuffed flat, then im adding sentinal guns to the "arms" the left is a auto cannong, right will be a missle.

the backpack of the dread is acually the sentinal back. im still trying to figure out what i can throw on there or even what to do with the coffin opening >.<

To do list:
Finish wolverine mark 1
Start Infantry platoon 1
Plan basalisk to titan mark 1

Cut the barrel off the autocannon and stick it to the flat bit you have green stuffed, then stick the ammo cylinder to the side of the arm. Or is something else going there?

That....actually looks awesome! It definately screams Wolverine. Although more armor is needed (mostly the Ironclad style)

I was acually thinking of greenstuffing the gap from the main body to the arms, make it more solid looking

what i was originally thinking was putting the dread armour in a different placement as i cant put them how they should be. (due to foot placement)

Man I loved tiberian sun, it was my first rts game, I got it in fifth grade and the rest is history...just this past summer I played the campaign again, I look forward to seeing this army progress (though I prefer nod)

normally so do i, but for the purpose of 40k i found gdi would be easier to represent, in fluff and models.

trust me i would kill to make a banshee

Why not use the Juggernaut unit from Firestorm as your Basilisk? It would make more sense. A titan would be more of a Leman Russ IMO.

thats the intention, its just im going to use a titan/juggernaught as i REEEAAAALLLYYY dont want a 3 barreled walking machine of death..... yet. (cough FW model cough)

A Juggernaught would be on the scale of a 40K titan no? those things are pretty damn big.

well what ime going to do is make it about the same size as a valkrye from tail to front. but i still need to work out the prototype before i finalize it.

I know this isn't a popular thread, but due to work etc. i havent been able to update.

so here's a small tidbit. thurday im going to be posting pictures of the finished wolverene (somewhat based) .

im just waiting on my local GW to get in some black spray paint and im going to start assembling my orca (vendetta)

i also have a few troop prototypes that im going to post as well.

as for the direction on this army im going for a 10-50k point apoc army mostly based around vendetta's / mech troops (blobs/wolverenes/titans(basilisks)

this is pretty much goign to be a 1-3 year project.

For the titan's ive come to the conclusion there going to need to be scratch built.

ive started on that. but so far im not liking the look.

pictures of the two prototypes wolverene and trooper

the wolverene is almost done just need to put something in the front "plate" plus base it.
plus alot of highlighting.

whose head is 100% greenstuff. dont mind the paint job atm its not done XD

tell me what you guys think so far c&c is greatly needed here XD

I like where you're going with the sentinel/wolverine idea, but I'm afraid I've got no useful suggestions for what to with the sarcophagus front plate. As for your trooper however, I think the helmet needs some alteration. Right now it has more of a motorbike helmet feel, and I think that the visor should cover more of the face, sort of like the halo style helmet. I'm also not sold on the White, maybe a darker brown or a lighter one for contrast, unless there's going to be some White plating on everything in which case it might look quite striking.

I'd cut around the sarcophagus, make it wider, and put a cockpit from a toy or somethin in there. Make it look like it's being piloted by someone.

Also, to me, it looks far to much like a dread right now. I'd replace the legs with shortened sentinel legs with some armour, and maybe extend the arms a bit.

i wanted to do more with the wolverene and im trying to find some alternitives.
as for the legs idea i thought of that to, ill try and find the pics of the legs stuck on with sticky tack. it doesnt look good imho

as for the trooper i do agree about the white, ive disliked it from the moment i painted it.

but the helmete was supposted to look like this guy here
