You definitely have a good start. Take a look at the GW Washes. They add a level of layer that might really make the models start to pop. Also, think about what you want the eye to focus on when painting, and then give those areas the most definition

I cant see the pictures here thou i have looked on your gallery. the models there have some very interesting conversions that i really love. the space wolves are by far my fav.
