I know I am low on troop count but if I am carefull enough with them they will survive. I have lots of other hard hitting units that will take his attention away from my troops. Even if it doesn't work he will still have to deal with them before he can do anything to the troops because I will try and get them into his face. Look at Fritz from WayofSaimHann. His list has a very low troop count (10 to be exact) but his list is still very succesful. I like the idea of the attack bike. It can zip around pop-tanks and annoy my opponet. The dual flamers on the Ironclads are also very effective. I will hide them behind the drop pods till they can charge and use the dual flamers. What you guys think?

Looks like a standard Vulkan list except, why do you have a Dozer Blade on the Pred, as it's not really going to be moving, just shooting?

Standard in that it includes Vulkan and min-maxs the amount of flamers and melta you can take in the army. When every single unit contains at least one template/melta weapon you are running a 'standard' Vulkan army.

List looks good. I wouldn't really change much if anything.

Personally, I think its lacking in a troop choice to hold objects. Don't really know how you can rectify that though. Maybe 3x tact squads in razor backs and dropping the biker?

Thanks for the reply. That's why I refered to Fritz. He has 10 troops in his SM army but he uses very clever tactcis to keep them alive.

What will dual flamers do? Make it count as twinlinked?

Dual flamers just means he has a flamer on each arm. Giving him 2 heavy flamers. Vulkan makes them twin-linked.

Not a big fan of lone pods. I actually prefer to run my ICs and take 2 HKs on them instead but YMMV.

I sometimes run a rather similar list maybe not the most competatice but its a fun AV13 wall list imo.

It has a nice little "alpha strike" element that Vulkan lists really lack...

You need an odd number of drop pods, I would personally throw in a third Ironclad with a drop pod so that you'll get two comeing in on the first turn. I prefer too arm my Ironclads with a heavy flamer and a melta, this makes them much more versitile.

Your going to get much more mileage out of Speeders then your going to get out of an attack bike and a predators. I would consider dropping them to take two more speeders.

The Terminators and the Land Raider bother me... If you droped it you could easily find the points for another Ironclad with a pod and another Tactical.

A multi-melta is a hard weapon to use. I usually drop them in favor of a missle launcher or a lascannon.
