Made pretty good progress on my Death Guard Land Raider. I went for something that is closer to the Death Guard's original colors, so I primed Camo Green, overbrushed with Rotting Flesh, the sponged Polished Bone (Reaper) over it. The whole model was given a very thin wash of Hunters Green (Liquitex) to give it a bit of a green tint. The side doors and front ramp (top) was given a trim color of Dark Green and Green Wash, then I started grunging up the vehicle.

My wife finds this to be disgusting ... my work is done.

Next step is to finish some of the details and then seal it, before starting to apply mud and dirt.

I'd add some more pox marks to each group. Right now they look like cheatah spots. A few trailing off from each group would reduce that effect. I like that the rotting is not over done - too many nurgle vehicles come out looking like piles of slime, IMHO.

Personally I like it,it is a bit "clean" for Death Guard, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Perhaps a bit more "rust" on the metallic areas, and a little more grime/weathering here and there, but overall I wouldn't change much.

That is the plan. Once I get the base painting done and sealed, I can start playing around with the mud and rust powders.

Cool,it will be interesting to see your finished product.

I'd advise a gradual build up,you don't want to slather your model in "slime/grime" and obscure the nice work you've done so far.

I'm always interested to see people's interpretation of nurgle colour schemes, and I like the paler, subdued approach. I agree with the earlier post ref integrating the gribbly bits more with the flatter sections, by using smaller splotches to ease the transition.

I think I've more or less finished my details (lenses, lights, driver, pustules, rivets (yes, actually did rivets), lascannons, etc). I think I'll hit the noses of the lascannons with another coat of the soot powder, then they'll get sealed in prep for more rust and mud.

More or less done, except for the pintle mounted bolter I still have to do. I just used some of the rust powders on the corners and some dirt on the lower skirts and tracks.

Hit the nail on the head. I was trying to figure out why it seemed a bit 'off,' and that was it.

As it stands, it feels like the grime is making it 'dirty' in the same sense that a pair of thick glasses and a large sweater make a supermodel 'ugly.' Slap on some rust, maybe some mud on the tracks and surrounding armor, and you're good to go. I love the side doors, by the way. The demon-heads for the MoN look great.

Got started on the pair of Rhinos. There are magnets embedded into the right side hatch, to support the havok launchers. Those same launchers can also attach to the top of the Land Raider sponsons.

I like them but they might be a little too clean. Design on the top hatch of the Rhino looks cool.

The rhinos are still WIP. I'll sponge some dark green on high traffic areas and add rust, etc. Personally, even though they are nurgle, I don't really want them to be over the top dirty.

More progress. Finished the Death Guard iconography on the hatch covers and now I'm in a bit of a quandry. I really should weather the top hatch and chip the icons, but I don't really want to. The havok launchers are also magnetized. They can go on the Rhinos are the Land Raider.

I've also been writing up the step by step, which is still WIP, but close:

Nice work as always Ifurita, your Death Guard might be on the clean side...but they're definitely looking good.

I'm very interested in seeing more...troops perhaps?

Yes, I have a 10-pack of terminators with forgeworld accessories as well as 14 or so regular marines.
