I've been thinking about working on a Deathwatch/Ordo Xenos inspired army. I plan on using Kantor as my master of the watch, sternguard as deathwatch marines, and scouts are =I= stormtroopers. My fluff knowledge is a little limited at this point but I would also like to take a MoTF and some riflemen dreads, or in their place AC/LC preds. I welcome any advice on what supplies as far as tanks and dreads the Ordo Xenos and Deathwatch have available as well as the playability of the army.

Pedro Kantor =175

MoTF
Conversion Beamer =120

10 Sternguard
Rhino
3x combi melta =300

4x combi melta =305

Scouts
Combi Melta
Power Fist =110

Land Speeder Storm
Multi Melta =65

Power Fist =110

Land Speeder Storm
Multi Melta =65

Dread
2x TL Autocannons =125

= 1500

I could replace some of the weapon options on the sternguard, possibly giving them combi flamers or a heavy flamer to taste.

I think that seems fine with me. I would be a bit iffy on only the MoTF, idk if they would really be deathwatch marines, maybe a sort of stormtrooper inquisitor guy instead.

deathwatch does have libbies, so that might be a more fluff option.

yeah the MoTF is there more for the dreads to be heavy, but i could take AC/LC predators instead, or try and make the MoTF into some sort of inquisitor who is very bionic'd out.
