I really don't know what the best pair of wings would be for a winged Tyrant, how well would these wings scale:

I really don't know how big most fantasy units are, so I'm just wondering if any of you guys have used fantasy wings on your hive tyrant to give it wings, and which looked/fit the best?
Thanks!

I think those are probably to small, when I built mine I used LOTR wings from the Nazghull on Fell Beast. From my Gallery:
More images in there, please give me some ratings!

I saw an aftermarket set sized for warriors recently, but I can't remember where I saw it. Checked a couple of of the bigger sites and they weren't there. I'll keep looking though.

You might try contacting Raging Heroes regarding their Kahn Urkan wings. I'm not sure if they sell them individually (not listed on their main shop pages), but they may have extras. I have the 28mm version of Kahn Urkan with the demonic wings; they are very nice and would look great on a flyrant. You would probably want the Legendary-sized ones for a Tyrant.

I saw warriors with 2x sets of wings from Gargoyles added to them and they looked great as 4 winged critters. plus thats an easy way to get lots of wings (from the gargoyles set).

MacFarlane Toys sell some very cool, detailed, and dynamic Dragon toys. I've seen many people remove the wings from them and use them on their Flyrants. I actually plan to do something similar myself. The dragons are pretty cheap too; you can usually find one for $15-$20.
