Okay, if I send in my xbox to microsoft (It doesn't have the rrod, I think something is messed up in the video card because the screen will just freeze up), is there a way to get my warranty extended again? (I've run out of the three year warranty). How much do repairs cost and how long does it take to get your xbox back? Would it be better just to get a used one for 100 bucks? (Only has a 30 day warranty, which really scares the crap out of me, seeing as I'm on my fourth 360. The other ones I got repaired for free because of my warranty)

They renew your warranty I believe.
Repair is quick. (They just send you a new/refurbished Xbox I think).
It depends on your location how long it will take. I live in NJ, and it takes mine around 2 weeks total to get there and come back to me. (Hint, they are in Texas).

Mattieu~~~~ It's not that eldar are bad, it's that they require a lot of intergration between units. Also, that doesnt prove anything other than GW has a huge hard-on for marines, and, given the option between making a xeno the best psykers or making a marine the best psyker, they will 9 times out of 10 choose the marine.

Also, since it takes a while of the xbox being on to screw up, I am concerned microsoft will send it back saying nothing is wrong with it. Is there a place on the repair form to explain the problem?
And when you send in the repair request, does it give you an address to send the xbox too?
(The Best Buy near where I live is a bunch of douchebags, they won't even touch a console to repair it (even if you pay) if your service plan has expired.)

Yes, they send you a box, fill out an online form(at Xbox.com I THINK), and they fix it. They also tell you where to ship it. You will have to pay if you don't have a warranty, but they will fix it.

One thing to note is the cost of repair can be rather expensive you may find it cheaper to get a second hand 360 ...

I payed 75 euro's for the repair, someone came over to pick my xbox up and loaned me a different one, 2 weeks later I got my old one back good as new, and got another year of free warranty.
Microsofts repair services for the xbox 360 are really good if you ask me.
I sold the bugger off 2 days later and bought me the new elite slim one though xD

I had one when it came out, that one died within a month, got a free new one and still have it (works too, dad uses it), but I got an elite a couple of years back. So I guess I'm on my third aswell :(

My first one lasted 2 years, sent it for repairs, was to lazy to wait 2 weeks so bought a new while it was out, sold the repaired one to a mate, then this one died, and repaired and sold again and got me mister slim.
