Can (does) the doomwheel shoot its lightning bolts on a turn that it rallies? I know the rules for shooting are clear on this but I didn't know if the Doomwheel rules supercede this. The doomwheel says in each friendly shooting phase it shoots. (Its also been FAQ'd to say that it shoots in CC and when it's fleeing) Any thoughts?

As I understand it, the Doomwheel doesn't so much shoot as the driver directs, as discharge excess power unless the driver manages to divert it. So, a fleeing driver woudn't be terribly worried about frying a few friendlies while running for his life... and even less worried about frying some unfriendlies, yes?

Yes, its compunction to shoot regardless overrides all normal restrictions on shooting, including while in combat, fleeing.
