Hello all, may seem a tad early but I feel it is never too early to start.

April 8th - 10th will be this year UB_Con. The University at Buffalos annual convention.

More information will follow but currently expect an 1850 Singles tournament as well as a 2,000 point doubles tournament. Time & interest willing there will also be a 500 point singles tournament.

Here is the link to a google doc of the 1850 tournament outline. Bear in mind this is a preliminary version & not the final. Any comments / criticism will be greatly appreciated.

Are you involved with running this? Does UB (University of Buffalo) have any sort of Warhammer 40k community?

I am only involved in the 40k tournaments. I do not attend UB but spoke with the con director at a different convention & was offered the position of TO.

Hmm....interesting. I have a real hard time finding games in Western New York. Most places have gaming on Friday/Saturday which I just can't do thanks to work. Do they have regular 40k gaming nights? Their website doesn't offer much in the way of information

I don't know, sorry. I'm from Buffalo but I go to school in Rochester so I don't know too much about them. I know Jesters Cap (Near Walden & Central in lancaster) plays 40k on teusdays & fantasy on mondays. I don't particularly like the owner but people have told me he's gotten better.
