Hi all. Can a Lone Wolf be enbarked in a transport without be considered part of the unit allready in? I mean, can both "units" be transported together but work indipendently once disembarked from the vehicle? OR should I run him in the field and eventually, only once the origianl unit has quitted his vehicle, use it for the lone wolf? Thank you in anticipation

A single unit can be in a transport vehicle at a time.
The lone wolf model is a unit, as is the unit in the transport vehicle.
So that would be two units in the transport, so No to the first option.
Second option is fine, the lone wolf can jump in the transport by himself. Automatically Appended Next Post: Someone may wish to cite chapter/verse on this don't have my BBB to hand

Above is correct.
You are only given permission, generally, to have ONE unit embark a transport at any one time - noting that ICs join any embarked unit, meaning you still only have one unit.
If you gain access to a stormraven, which DOES allow 2 units (specifically a infantry / jump infantry plus a dreadnought) then you could, indeed, have a Lone wolf + Dread in the same vehicle.
The only other time would be in Apocalypse, where Super Heavy vehicles can transport multiple units.

Well, thank you so much.
Nosferatu, you talked about Stormraven. They gonna be available even for the Space Wolves?

Potentially.
Theyre releasing a new plastic kit, which currently exists only in the BA codex (and potentially will exist in the GK codex, due April) - I find it unlikely that they will NOT publish an "official rules" for it that can allow its use in the vanilla space marine or space wolf codex. They would be fools not to, really, given the expense* of making plastic kits
*not the plastic so much as the mold, and having space on the machines.

That would be great. Expecially for SW for the assault/fast/double unit/cheap land raider substitution. This means that I'll be almost forced to wait another little bit to proceed with my wolves lists.. Potentially really exciting.

Given it is due to hit February, with BA second wave, there may be a WD article around then.
A full unit of GH with a wolf guard leading, so you still get double weapons, would be ace. Of course they could limit the capacity to 10 models for SW, so they have somewhere to store the mjod
It's all speculation, but is reasonable as they added the nightspinner to the Eldar codex through a WD article.
