Hello, please help with a name for this pretty young thing. He is 230 years old and likes eating people and is fond of the Chaos Gods.

He is still a work in progress as he is probably half painted. I need a few suggestions / tips from those who have a love of all thing Chaos.
This is the largest model I have ever attempted to paint and would like some fresh ideas. I would like to do something different with his pants. Something that would possibly make them stand out and look more "Chaosy".
There are many areas that need an improvement on the paint job, (I am not happy with some of the drybrushing as it looks too heavy. *** Anyone have any tips on how to tone down some of the white drybrushing on his skin without disturbing everything else that has been painted ??? ***

'Bob' is always a good name.

Seriously though; maybe 'Throg the Shield-snatcher'

It's being run by people with short term vision and enough greed to extinguish a sun.

Perhaps they're the C'tan.

"Grutz the Ironclad" - I likes it. Hey anyone got any suggestions for his lovely pair of trousers ??? I would like to make them look a little bit different and would like any ideas on the colors that might look grimy & chaosy enough.
Should I make some sections of the pants look similar to the undead flesh that is on the "face shield" near the Chaos Symbol ???

You could make the pants look like human skin stitched together.

"Fresh Human Skin", as in bronzed flesh based or "Old Decaying Skin", as in rotting flesh based ?
Off Topic, ***Grass4hopper*** = I am currently working on some Tyranids that have all got dead Cadian corpses on the bases / larger Tyranids are ripping apart / stabing cadians and rippers bursting out of chests. Ver Nice.
I have used a lot of Forge World Tyranid Conversion Parts / models including two "Forge World Trygon's that I purchased off ebay. (Holy smoke - Grass4hopper have you seen the Forge World Trgon ?? ).
Anyways, Grass4hopper I was wondering if you could help with some info / ideas on a couple of Tyranid things that I am unsure about ???

When I thought of it, I more of 'tanned hide' skin. Not decaying, but not fresh; pretty much like leather.

Come to think of it, it could be skin from multiple races. It just depends on what you think is more chaos-y.

Sure, send me a PM. I'm relatively new to 40k, but I look modeling conversions in general.

The question that I have is about the Tyranid Carnifex. Question: I have two of the Forgeworld "Stone Crusher Carnifex with wrecking ball" and one of the Forgeworld "Stone Crusher Carnifex with wrecking claws" I realize that all Carnifexes in a single brood must have the same options and was wondering in a normal Warhammer 40K game which options / weapons would you suggest would be suitable to apply to all three Carnifex as wrecking balls and wrecking claws are not mentioned in the tyranid codex ???

Just thought of a possible name for this beauty queen, well it is an extension on "Alexwars1's" awesome suggestion. "Grutz the Ironclad - Destroyer of all things pants related". heehehe.
(That is why his pants have such good ventilation, I always thought that it was dodgy tailors that did a halfassed job for old Grutz when he ordered his latest pair of slacks).
