well, I've been playing with WoC since the introduction of 8th and I've only just become comfortable with my force organisation and marks [mostly tzeentch with nurgle knights and slaaneshi horsemen] so I reckon it's about ******* time I picked up the paintbrush.

After making a renegade Inquisitor [well.... more of a radical...... uber radical] of Malal, I've been itching to use the colour scheme on a larger scale. I think the colours fit.

This is the only pic I have of that, I sold it along with a retinue so can't take a fresh pic

Well here are the WIP shots of my Exalted of Tzeentch,
Blue hints to black armour seemed just right for this one
The black and white skull of Malal and recurring black and
white cheques is going to be a running theme throughout
also note the weapons.... "DREADAXE THIRSTS FOR YOU!"

Don't reckon I'm winning any awards but I'm happy so far. Need to touch up that left eye that's spilling onto his cheek. Should be able to post the finished thing tomorrow and get some better pics, then onto my first troops.

hehe, props on the SoM army dude!

Here's the same colour scheme transferred onto my warhounds.

The only addition is that beast flesh/short fur is black with codex grey highlights.

and flock to taste... thats 2 units of 5 under the belt.

I really like the way you have done the fur and an overall great job on the warhounds.

I see some knights, so is that what we shall be seeing next?

Hmm, I approve, but I don;t see the traditional Malal colors here.

yes, yes, I know it's not entirely black on white.

I wanted to give my own take on it instead of trying to quarter up the miniatures.

It looks great on CSM's but I wasn't keen on the warrior equivalent [watch this space for SoM in the future.... and yes! they will have the traditional colour scheme].

However I did try not to stray too far from the mark as the armour is black but with a blue glow and the furs are white.
(And also it helps prevent peoples heads exploding when I run them with the MoT in game terms )

Indeed knights are on the way next, I've completed 3 already and the last 2 are almost done, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Friday by the latest.
Would be sooner but I've got a lot of work on over the next three weeks so my progress may be hindered slightly.

Thanks for looking

The bases are a little rocky and coarse for my own tastes, but I really love the color scheme on these. The blue just has this overall quality that really draws the eyes.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

You are a stronger person than I. If I had painted something so beautifully, I don't think I'd have the heart to sell it. If I had money (and space now that I really think about it - I be nearing overload) I'd buy 'em all. They really are beautifully done.
