What happens when Necrons phase out?
EDIT:
What happens when Tyranids Run across black holes?
Why are black holes never mentioned?
Are there renegade Grey Knights?

From the Lexicanum:
In appearance, the Necrons are skeletal parodies of living beings with swirling green energies emanating from their mechanical limbs and baleful lifeless emerald eyes. All of their numbers possess sophisticated auto-repair systems throughout their exo-skeletal systems that can repair even the most crippling of damages. While this can keep them functioning constantly, should there be irreparable damage sustained, the Necron "phases out". Both their minds and their bodies are teleported to the nearest tomb complex where they either remain in storage until repairs are made or a new body is forged. This act does, however, come at a cost as each act of transference leads to a decay in the Necron's engrams. As such, those Necrons that have "died" and phased out hundreds of times suffer the most for they become little more than automatons who have lost the memory of the creature that they used to be in life.2

- I assume Nids would detect Black Holes from a massive distance and either a) avoid them, or b) use the gravity to speed up their travel
- The Lexicanum lists black hole as on of the possible sources for the dark matter used in some DE weaponary. It lists C E (3rd Edition) in 'Source" for the Lexicanum article, but I don't have that Codex and don't know if that information if directly from the fluff, or just the posters hypothesis.

No, not a single GK has EVER defected to Chaos. I believe one came close, but he recovered (I THINK, not sure).

Mattieu~~~~ It's not that eldar are bad, it's that they require a lot of intergration between units. Also, that doesnt prove anything other than GW has a huge hard-on for marines, and, given the option between making a xeno the best psykers or making a marine the best psyker, they will 9 times out of 10 choose the marine.

Black hole are BRUTAL, they are the most METAL thing ever, Blacker than the Blackest black!
@ Grasshopper: yes the 3rd Edition Dark Eldar Codex indeed conjecture that the Dark matter for Darklances/Blasters is harvested from black holes(also Warp Storms and "other Celestial phenomenon of great magnitude"). It is on page 35 of the Codex(or at least page 35 of the re-print, not sure if that is the same page as the first printing, quite a few things got changed and several units/rules were added).
I also Agree that nids would Either A) Detect the Gravity well and avoid or B) detect the gravity well and use it to "slingshot" for a speed boost.
I believe there are a few other sources that claim Black holes can be used for warp-travel and/or weapons that open Black holes; I just cannot remember where I read it, nor cite the source.
