so obviously I did quite a few things wrong this game. I should have started with all my firepower on the table and in the center, I really shouldnt have held anything in reserve save maybe the devilfish.
Obviously having lost my marker stealth team early on really hurt me in the long run, and having farsight not arrive til the 3rd turn pretty much lost the game for me (which is why I charged the swarmlord instead of running away, paroxysm hurts
btw). I really think that broadsides are more or less useless against nids as well as well as the 2x fusion suit.
As far as farsight goes, while I love the idea of a giant retinue and a tau char that can hold his own in close combat; I feel that his army restrictions on what you can take in your army and the fact that he himself is counterproductive to the whole idea of a shooty tau army makes him just as useless as the "space chic that cant join groups" and "space pope" are for heroes. Besides, for his points I can field a whole friggin army of kroot and they while not as tough as farsight, bring so much more to the table.
