QUestions about orders for IG:
1. When a commander makes an order can that order not be given again ie can 1 commander give the same order to two different units?
2. Can a unit receive more than 1 order in a turn?
3. If a commander fails to make an order can he attempt to make the same order on the same unit again?

For The Emperor

1) You can give the same order to more than one unit, as you are allowed to give orders from the list, but not told you are restricted in any way

2) Unlikely, if you read the orders it "uses up" their shooting phase

3) Yes, assuming he didnt roll double 6 (from memory) so can still issue orders at all.

1.Yes

2.No - The rules state that Orders cannot be issued to units that have already received orders (whether or not the prior order was successful).

3.No not to the same unit - see above. He can however issue a second order to a different unit.

Oops, I misread 3 - I missed the "to the same unit" part. The answer is NO to the same unit, for the reasons above, but YES to another unit.
