I've found a number of miniatures in the RAFM line that I would like to use with my Super hero minis games.

The guys in question come from a range called USX Modern day Heros.
Before I get them I would like to ask if they are good minis, how is the price compared to similar products of this type, and if the scale is decent in regards to miniatures.

I haven't messed with RAFM since before the fall of Battletech, and in the day with D and D minis, so when I saw these boxed sets and minis, I was pretty interested. I would like to use these guys in my gaming and more then likely will be including them in some RPGing with M and M as well.

Along with the terrorists and SWAT guys, they have a bunch of cool alternatives, such as Call of the Cthuhlu guys, cultists, and zombies, and a batch of crazy looking drones that have possibilities.

As a side question, I'm also looking for some quality pulp style robot army troops and giant robots. Can anyone give me a good recommend, or can point me in the right direction?

Looking for info before I buy...

I dunno about the models you're after, but I recently bought a war turtle for them for my Slaan to ride for my lizardmen army. The model was good looking but it had a LOT of flash. The legs and tail didn't fit onto the body very well so I had to add a lot of rocks on my base to make it so all 4 feet were attached to it. And the middle of the shell was a separate piece that didn't line up very good either.

Other than that, no problems with my order, they shipped it out quick.

Rafm didn't do battletech miniatures.

Ral Partha did. Perhaps you are confusing them?

Rafm (a canuckistani company, iirc) were better known for their "Star Knights" (reaction marines) and Cthulhu miniatures.

That said, their USX line is much better looking than I remember their stuff being.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

LOL, that tells you how long ago I even played.

Your correct. Confusion says it was Ral Partha about the Battletech.

The guys from RAFM in question can be founds here.

I like the look so far, but I haven't really been able to see them "in the flash" so to speak.

Basic guys are a bunch of terrorists, and SWAT guys, then they have boxed sets of other goodies ( and baddies)...

Long story short, Has anyone either played, painted, or sold these guys, or have seen them out of the box? How do they stand up along side Hasslefree, Reaper, or other similar minis?
