Hi,

Avatars of War is about Dwarves during those times, so following the trend and preceding our first Dwarf plastic set, here is a new dwarven hero, a Dwarf Noble.

I really hope you like it!

Yeah quite nice, like some of your other dwarves better. When do you reckon the plastic box set will come out?

Are you going to do a plastic set of chaos dwarves? As the metal ones, my favourite of the line.

Wow, very nice! I especially love the layered braid you gave the beard, very stylish and fitting a Dwarven noble. Imagine how long it would be unraveled!

Interesting... Wondering if this mini is an indication that AoW is looking to move away from the GW look a little bit. It's a lovely sculpt, without looking like a GW mini.

Might well be. But the thing I like about aow is that their sculpts are in the style of GW but are much better.

I particularly like it because it looks so different from GW. I know the money is in making things that fit into use in Warhammer (I'm also looking at you, Mantic), but I'd much prefer they showed some creativity on their own.

All of AoW miniatures surely show creativity ... and they look good in a GW army
Remember, the sculptor once worked for GW and helped create the style.

Good news. This is the best time in the hobby. Full of promise. GW lets us down each time and we know it but secretly we're hoping that this is the edition that GW gives us a balanced game that can also be played competitively at tournaments. I'm loving it.
