With the Khymeras & BMs having only one Wound, and the RFs having many more, there comes some uncertainty (for me) on how to allocate wounds.

It makes sense to put PowerFist/Relic Blade wounds on the Khymera, given its Invuln, and to dodge having a RF InstantDeathed. Do I have this right?

Let's say a unit of 4BMs, 6 RazorFlocks, 5 Khymeras gets hit with 8 Armor Save wounds, and 2 PFist, 10 total.

I'd assign 1 PF on 1 Khymera each, and then the 4 to the BMs and 4 to the RFs.

1. Right?
2. Smart? As in, exploiting the BMs' FnP (since we now know for sure that the critters are out of luck on it ).

This is correct as laid out in the "Complex units" rules on page 25 of the BRB.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
