Platicard (modeling platic card, not sure how the name started) and some plastic tubing by the looks of it.

Generally a generic hobby store should supply this stuff and it comes in various thicknesses.

you gotta be a little more specific next time.

The white sheets that are on the hull of the tank itself is plasticard, sheets of plastic used in modelling.

The white gun thingy is a cast made from resin.

Didn't notice it was resin.

Seen some people make their own guns using plastic tubing before that looks almost exactly the same as it.

The luster on the gun seems more like a resin cast, but I could be wrong (the resin i use is clear).

Plasticard? A hobby shop, online or in real life, both will probably stock it; though online it is more likely you can find what your looking for...

Resin? Well, I assume hobby stores will stock. I don't really know having never used it before.

I have a local art shop that stocks both plasticard and Resin. However only the resin is actually of a (comparatively) reasonable price. Plasticard sells for quite a bit more compared to the plexiglass sheets I get at another local surplus store.

First of all, welcome to dakka.

Second, dont mean to be rude, but there is a reason dakka sends you a polite message every time you dont capitalize an entire post.

Third, it should be in arts shops, games workshops and your local hobby centre.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Oh and for noobs, I would advise steering clear of resin.

plasticard is also known as sheet styrene. It's a type of polystyrene (or, assuming your flag next to your avatar is correct, Polystyren). You can often get it at a place that sells things like hammers, screws and bits of PVC pipe.

Tubing can be done with plasticard tube, but it can also be done with aluminum and brass tubing (what I use).

Looks more like it's just been made from plastic tubing, to me.

Holy crap! Insaniak, does your avatars eye wink!? Either that, or I'm getting strongly paranoid...

Yeah, tis plasticard. I can never seem to find the stuff though. It's a tad annoying, it has to be said.

I beleive that is a resin cast of a barrel made out of plasticard tubing. I know he sells his casts somewhere, but I forget the site.
