Started painting space marines, happened to be dark angels, back in '03 while i was in the army, then converted em to chaos, with same color scheme. when i was leaving the army didnt' think i'd have any use for em, (of course they really just kinda hung out on a shelf anyway) and instead of holding on to em i threw em all out. a couple months ago decided to make amends for this grievous mistake by painting again, having only tried playing once, started with some white scars using assault on black reach. gonna give the whole white thing another go it looks good but, something about them doesn't seem quite right, i want a bright white, but,.. its possibly too bright white, so they may become soul drinkers cause that fluff is awesome. I have a couple tau, some orks (black reach), n a couple chaos termies, space marines seem to be the only army growing having added a devestator squad, an ironclad dread, assault termies and a sniper scout squad, a normal (?) scout squad all assembled just waiting for primer n paint job, cept the scout sqaud which came out pretty rad for a first time go at exposed flesh and painting eyes. mostly do this just to paint.theres a hobbytown by me with game days on sunday so, once im happy with the paint job, ill try to make use of em/show em off. (which i think is actually an excuse not to go to game day heh).
