Anyone have experience with the GaleForce-9 Snow flock? ...do you use it just like regular flock? ...what type of glue etc? ...helpful tips?

Thanks!

I once purchased snow flock and immediately went to work with it. Needless to say it looked like pretty bad imo. Now i just saw the other night a tut on how to make this stuff look good. Take some white glue (pva elmers etc) put a big blob of it on a piece of cardstock, paper plate whatever you have handy. Mix in a good amount of the snow with the glue then smear on the base/terrain.

I have not used GF9 snow flock, but i have used the same product from Woodland Scenics. I'd suggest a test model first, just to play around with it. I mix mine with some white glue and water to make a paste, then use my brush to roughly get it into place. Then, I dip my brush in water and start to shape it and push it into final position. The water makes it flow a little bit, so that my static grass can poke through.

50% GF9 Snow 50% White PVA Glue

Place it where you want it and then sprinkle it with additional flock.

When Dry do the same thing using Water FX instead of PVA just for the edges of your newly created mounds and you'll end up with very realistic results.

Also, Try adding some white paint to the white glue and it will prevent the 'clear' slush kind of snow.
