This is probably stupid question ,but I really don't know where do Orcs come from ,where they live . I mean old world orcs. In tents ,caves, woods ,rocks or something?
I really need to know..

Orcs come from Mordor.

I always thought Orcs were a fungal infection found in caves, (or possibly between the toes of giants) which eventually spawns various kinds of green skins. But then, there is a good chance that they also come from North End, which is about 20mins from my house and where I am sure I have seen several specimins lurking around at bus stops.

After conversing with my housemate (who has 3 copies of the WHF Orc army book) I have discovered that the origins and living habits of orcs is never fully explained.

Some greenskins live in forests and caves, others don't. The implication seems to be that they adapt and live wherever they can, even going so far as to infest cities and settlements that they have cleared of the previous occupants (this also happens in the Gotrek and Felix books.) As for where they come from... it doesn't seem to be explained in WFB, though in 40k they are definitely fungal.

I thought it was obvious. Orks never dus sleep, oderwize grotz and other boyz wood kil uz in our sleep for teef!

Thanks! Really appreciate the info. I just want to make Ork WFB diorama , and now it seems that it really doesn't matter were I put the orks cuz they live nowhere particular .

I'd do caves. They're simple, they make sense, they're easy to put fungus and stuff on for any gobbo purposes and they're often a good source of trolls and out of the way of most major places.

Maybe ,but I am thinking more of a ork raid in village...
