Decided I want to try something new with my Witch Hunters. Went though the codex and my model collection to see what is not really used. This is not meant to be a toury list. Just for friendly games so see how often ignored options work.

Ya, kinda. LOL

Everyone always dismisses certain units as pointless, but sometimes they can work well. ie: the internets say IG mortars and Rough Riders are a waste, but I love mine. They always do well for me. So I wanted to try out some different choices and see what happens.

Awesome stuff.
I'd go for a heavy flamer rather than melta on the sisters. Let stormtroopers shoot the meltas.

Also, I'd drop the lance strike, and add another penitent engine. The chimera can be a rhino to conjure those points.

This is a super fun list, I hope you post a battle report.

I have now tried out this list twice and it has proved highly entertaining (1 draw, 1 loss). Was against my friends Necron army they he had just built and had never used. I wish I had a full battle report to give, but my favorite part was when the lance strike scattered as far as it could go to get a bulls-eye on one of his monoliths wrecking it!
