been playing for a few months. I only play at home with my son and a few friends.
i bought the black reach kit and added a few other models.

i would like to bring both armies up to 1500 points but keep them ballanced with each other

i would like some advice on building out these armies like which models to buy, roster setups, and maybe a few options.

we dont care about what the model has on it as long as we have the loadout on paper. that way we have more options with fewer models because storage space is a bit of a problem here.

here is a list of the models i have so far.(just the models, this is not a roster)


orks
1 warboss
7 nobs
40 boyz (4 models have big shootas)
3 defcoptas
1 trukk
5 lootas (1 is a mek with custom mega blaster model but played as a loota

marines
1 captian
20 tactical (2 models have rocket launchers)
5 terminators
5 asault squad
1 dreadnaught

Rhinos for the marines are always a good choice. If you want flexibility, buy the razorback kit so that you can run a razorback or rhino. If you don't care about power level, then command squads are fun and good if kept fairly cheap. My advice for cmd squads is special weapon spam like 4x plasma gun or flamer.
